  1. Timothy Tacket Brown (born April                                     26th, 1979 in Portland, Oregon) had his first experience with music playing garbage cans in the back yard at the tender age of 6.

Grandpa didn't approve but Grandma took it as a sign that the young man might have a knack for rhythm. Before too long he was banging away on a real drum set and studying with Grammy nominated percussionist Niel DePonte (Oregon Symphony), Portland freelance percussionist Gordon Rencher and the jazz great Mel Brown (The Temptations, Stevie Wonder).

His path in music took him on many adventures including gigs at local jazz establishments at the age of 14, solo percussion performances with the Oregon Symphony at the age of 15 and eventually a full tuition scholarship to the highly acclaimed University of Michigan School of Music at the age of 17.

Currently he can be found performing internationally on stage with Hayley Sales (Universal Records), Two Loons for Tea (Sarathan Records) and Toby Summerfield (Contraphonic) and doing local session work and clinics in Seattle, Washington.
